Did you know that over 150 Visual artists live and work in Chelmsford, a city with a rich industrial heritage!
The Chelmsford Arts and Cultural Festival is an inaugural event aimed at bringing arts and culture together in an all-encompassing one-week festival. The festival aims to provide visitors with the opportunity to get up close and personal with works by both up and coming and professional artists through workshops, exhibitions and performances.
Wishbone Art Publishers, who publish and support some of the most celebrated and collectable award-winning artists in the country, will bring a professional edge to the celebrations with an exhibition of the bestselling artists in the country: “our history of working on artistic collaborations with various globally recognised brands means that we can hopefully further the reach of the event and bring all the ingredients to gain recognition to all those taking part." Glenn Hardman
James Wilkinson (The Official Artist to the V Festival, Artist in Residence at Hylands House and Radio Presenter - CCR) will be organising a Hylands artist Showcase and music event.
The Hive studio artists’ touring exhibition, commemorating the centenary of the First World War, will be on show at the Cathedral during the week of the festival.
